Halloween recipes for spooky party cocktails
Bloody Mary
A classic anytime (especially the morning after a really horrifying binge), the Bloody Mary has such a gory name it is a cocktail that qualifies for the Halloween fun menu every year.
Bloody Mary recipe:
1-1/2 ounces vodka
3 ounces tomato juice
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon horseradish
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Dash of
Tabasco
sauce
Sprinkle of black pepper
Stir all ingredients in a glass of crushed ice and garnish with a stalk of celery.
Zombie
The Zombie is another natural choice for a fancy drink at your Halloween party. Considering its high rum content, it should be the mandatory cocktail of any pirates in attendance.
Zombie cocktail recipe:
2 shots light rum
1 shot dark rum
1 shot pineapple juice
1 shot lime juice
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
Dribble of 151-proof rum as the topping
Shake all the ingredients EXCEPT the 151-proof rum together with crushed ice. Now strain the drink into another glass filled with fresh ice. Carefully pour a small amount of the 151-proof rum on top. Cast a maraschino cherry adrift on this treacherous sea and serve.
Orange martini
The Orange Halloween Martini will place a splash of holiday spirit in the hands of your party guests.
Orange Halloween Martini recipe:
1-1/2 ounces vodka
1 ounce Grand Marnier
Splash orange curacao
Simply shake together the ingredients and serve cold.
